What our roof warranty actually covers
Most roofers guarantee their own work. We do too — and CertainTeed guarantees it alongside us.
We are a certified CertainTeed ShingleMaster™ PRO. That certification is what lets the manufacturer put its own name behind our installation for the first fifteen years, so the guarantee on your roof carries a national manufacturer as well as a local contractor. CertainTeed only extends it to installers it has certified, which is a small fraction of the roofers working around here.
Your shingles
CertainTeed stands behind the material itself, direct from the manufacturer.
Our workmanship
We stand behind every part of the installation. If anything ever needs putting right, we come back and put it right.
CertainTeed backs our work too
For the first 15 years the manufacturer guarantees our installation alongside us. CertainTeed only extends that through contractors it has certified, which is why most roofers cannot offer it.

A family owned roofing company in Bothell
Daniel started this company in 2020 after years in roofing sales, because he kept watching homeowners get handed off — high-pressure pitches, contractors who went quiet once the contract was signed, nobody picking up afterward.
So the company is built the other way around. He runs the inspection, writes the estimate, stays on the job, and per step eight of our process he meets you one more time before any final payment changes hands.
What our customers say
★★★★★“We worked directly with the owner, and he was excellent when explaining the whole process. The crew was very efficient and very respectful during the job. They did a great job cleaning up and even did a magnetic sweep for loose nails.”
★★★★★“I can’t say enough how good a job these guys did on my roof! I’m a hard man to please and I can’t find a single thing I dislike about the finish product or process of getting it done!”
★★★★★“Great experience with Brixton. From the office coordinator, owner Daniel and the foreman Nelson. Daniel communication was wonderful from the start to the end.”
How a roof replacement works, step by step
Eight steps, same every time. Here are the first four.
Plan ahead
We make sure there is decent weather coming, and coordinate delivery of materials and the dumpster.
Respect for property
Before anything starts we cover landscaping, plants and anything else near the house that roofing debris could damage.
Removal of old roofing material
The tear-off. Crews start at the point farthest from the dumpster and work back.
Roof decking inspection
With the old roof off, the whole deck gets inspected. There should be no moisture damage and no holes other than old nail holes. Anything soft gets replaced before we build on it.

Common questions
Most of the roof replacements we do land between $12,000 and $20,000. Where a particular house falls depends on the size of the roof, how steep it is, how many layers have to come off, and what we find on the deck once the old roof is gone.
That range is what we actually charge — not a teaser number. You get a written estimate after the inspection, and it is yours to keep and compare.
Two to four days for a typical house. Tear-off and dry-in usually happen on the same day, so the roof is never left open overnight.
Often it can be repaired. Our standing policy: we will not try to upsell you to a full roof replacement if repairs are enough to extend the life of your roof.
A repair or a tune-up buys years on a roof that still has life in it. The inspection tells you which situation you are in.
Daniel looks at the whole system — not just the shingles. That means the ridge cap, valleys, drip edge and gutter apron, ventilation, chimney and all the flashing. It usually runs 45 to 60 minutes, and you get a written estimate.
He will walk you through materials, colors and the warranty options while he is there, so you can make a decision with the whole picture in front of you.
Three things are covered on a qualified roof. Your shingles are covered by CertainTeed for 50 years. Our workmanship is covered by us for 30. And for the first 15 years CertainTeed guarantees our installation alongside us.
That last one is what the ShingleMaster certification buys you. The manufacturer only puts its name behind installers it has certified and inspected, so most roofers cannot offer it at all.
Yes. We document the damage, give you what your adjuster needs, and do the repair or replacement once the claim is settled.
Get a straight answer about your roof
A free inspection and a written estimate you keep. Daniel owns the company and does the estimate himself — there is no sales team, so the person who looks at your roof is the person accountable for the work.
